The cheeze (the spelling for vegan cheese) is rich, creamy and made with coconut milk. The crust is made from tapioca starch, brown rice flour, sorghum flour and potato starch. It is crunchy and not overly sweet. This dessert comes in 4 delectable flavors – NY, Key Lime, Chocolate and Strawberry – and they are all equally delicious.

NY – Traditional New York Cheesecake is dense and made with heavy cream or sour cream. Daiya’s version is creamy and made with molasses and vanilla extract.

Key Lime – Unlike regular limes, key limes are tart. The tangy lime flavor balances well with the sweetness of the coconut and crust.

Strawberry – This flavor is made with real strawberries for a naturally great taste. According to the Cheesecake Factory, their most popular cheesecake is the Original Topped with Glazed Fresh Strawberries. It has been their most popular flavor for over 35 years. This isn’t surprising given how cheesecake and strawberries go so well together.

Chocolate – Made with cocoa and carob powders, it is rich, creamy and self-indulgent.

Conclusion

Daiya’s website states “One little taste and your senses will fall in love”. I completely agree. All four cheezecake flavors are mouth-watering, with a crunchy and perfectly sweetened crust. Too bad eating cheezecake is not an Olympic competition.
